One Response to “Warren Haynes [08-04-2015] with Railroad Earth, The Fillmore, Charlotte, NC”

  1.

Well Mr. Warren once upon a time in a lot at the ole oak mt. site in pelham, al you kindly played me one of the most heart-felt arranged “Patchwork Quilt” and in a ghostly-like state-of-mind b/t us was one that was literally, perhaps due to everyone else’s lack of temperance when it comes to substance that fog’s the mind, was one I did’nt share at that time and can truthfully say that that dusk in Birmingham was and will ever be etched in my musical cognition’s and with the back-drop of the “mule van” with a simple and crisp and clean sound was deeply appreciated and had a part in my recovery from alcoholism not to mention other herb’s and leaves that fog the mind, body and spirit and I really mean that…Thank you for that night…and the Phill and Friend’s show following that was outstanding…I’ve been playing Acoustic guitar for some 24 years and among the many venue’s, lot’s and festival’s if I could go back in time it would be that rendition of that very well written tune that mean’s so much to all fan’s of the art expressed by Gov’t Mule and your countless other “Most dedicated and all over the globe” tendin’ you offer to the art’s I dont go to many show’s much anymore which is why I am quiet happy to have found this site and I will donate whenever I get on top of my income…I am disabled, yet can play along with most any form of music as a novice and will see you again soon. Wesley Turner I’ll try to put a video together for yall to show you what your finger’s and mind has taught my own over the year’s and the ‘day’s between’ like Live Oak, many show’s in ATL, B’ham and of course a musician’s playground b/t the year’s of 2002-2004 at the ‘roo’ and I even met some fellow fan’s in mariaville at the vibe in 2002 on July 4th Thursday -Sunday but I do tell you that All Good’ landed me in the H and I discovered at UAB that I actually was in stg. 4 lung cancer and over the course of time, becoming a saint since, baptized by fire and the spirit of Christ daily, have significantly improved musically and I’m ready to show the scene and you all especially the Allman’s who I first was turned on to your style of playin’ who are living legend’s I’m gonna’ start playin’ at The Peerless Saloon in Anniston, AL soon so say a prayer for me if you do that sort of thing, and if not just keep singin’ and makin’ music with the band.
