Recording notes:
Recorded from the 10th row, slightly left of center. Microphones mounted on 7′ stand.
DAT swap between World Of Confusion and She’s Ninteen Years Old. (No music lost.)

Transfer and mastering notes:
The master DATs were used for the DAT > CD-R transfer.
The pair of CD-R’s used for the CD-R > FLAC transfer were burned directly from the master DATs.
Post-DAE, Cool Edit Pro was used to perform clip restoration on track 1 and track 8. (See EAC log, Part 1.)

Recorded, mastered & transfered by Paul deLima.

Gov’t Mule
November 6, 1996
The A.J. Pulumbo Center
Pittsburgh, PA

1. Blind Man In The Dark
2. Mother Earth
3. Game Face
4. Temporary Saint
5. John The Revelator
6. Mule

(Gov’t Mule opened for The Black Crowes.)

SDB + Microphones* > DAT
Panasonic SV-3800 > s/pdif (coax) > HHb CDR-850 > CD-R > EAC (secure) > Trader’s Little Helper > FLAC

Notes Part 1:
*The DAT clone I received shortly after this show was marked SBD > DAT. However, as the recording sounds like a matrix (SBD plus mics) I have labeled it as such. I do not know the type of microphones used in the recording, or their location in the venue. I imagine the mics were set up at the SBD and blended “on the fly” with the SBD feed before being fed into a DAT deck.

Notes Part 2:
I was unable to get a clean rip of Track 1 with EAC in Secure mode. The DAE for Track 1 was performed with EAC in Paranoid mode. (See EAC log for details.)
A second generation DAT clone was used in the DAT > CD-R transfer.
The CD-R used in the FLAC transfer was burned directly from the second generation DAT.
Recorded by Brodie.
DAT > CD-R and CD-R > FLAC transfers by Paul deLima.
